As the 2nd largest garment exporter in the world, Vietnam's textile and garment export value reached 35 billion USD in the first nine months of 2022, raised 21% over the same period of 2022. Its annual export value is expected to reach USD 70 billion by 2030. Due to the independence on raw materials, Vietnam needs to import 70% of the fabrics and garment accessories for their production.
